I have heard people say that romance is dead. Whenever I hear about romance being dead it usually has something to do with a fella not doing something. Opening doors, pouring her wine first, or something else. I am hear to tell you that while romance may be waning it is not all together dead. The romance I speak of has to do between fellas and here at the PGL we loving refer to it as bromance.
Bromance is the nonsexual hetero love that two or more men share. This love is usually shared over mutual interest and since we are a bunch of gaming nerds we use, well…..video games, DUH! For a quite some time Rockbanding was a daily occurrence, followed by some Halo, Fight Night, or another random game. Then one day, we all got busy. Work, girls, school, and countless other distractions limited the play time that the homies and I had and that made us all sad pandas.
As I sat at home watching Ultimate Fight Night, which was fantastic, Steve rang me up and asked if I would like to do some Rockbanding. Of course I would! I got a hold of Ryan and the band was back together!! We were missing one member but he is addicted to WoW, touching himself, and bad reality TV but the band was mostly back together. As we rocked the night away it was like the past month of no playing slipped away and we fell into a grove but it was short lived. After a short two hour set, we had to part ways but we all fell that close kinship and connection that we so desperately needed and now I will be able to go on.

Son of a bitch. I may have been touching myself last night but there was no WoWing. And it is awesome reality tv. Ass.
