Power Glove Love

There have been a couple developments in my struggle with Microsoft. A supervisor called yesterday, and I was excited. A random operator told me that when the supervisor called me, they would give me a code for a month card and I could simply put it in and have my Xbox Live account at gold status again. Nope. The guy recapped my story for the 5th time, and told me I had his word that someone will get back to me ASAP. I’ve waited ten days, at least, for this phone call and I’ve been told I have to wait 8-10 more. For a month card? That a woman, whose English was bad, obviously screwed up because she couldn’t understand me. So as a result of her fuck up, I’ve waited 17 days and completely missed out on the rest of the Battlefield: Bad Company beta. Thanks, guys.

My Dad said I didn’t have the balls to get anything done (by being a dick). So I gave him my account info and let him go to town. After he demanded a person from the USA (because it’s his right), they told him there really wasn’t any way to transfer the call to the states. You just have to keep calling, with your fingers crossed, and hope for someone from the US. He didn’t get much progress, either. After telling them it was their mistake, he threatened to call every 2 days until something is done. I’m sure it went over well. He also told the woman “Thanks for doing nothing.” It’s something I’d wanted to say a couple times, so I’m glad someone actually did.

The reason I’m even making a big deal out of this is because it’s pathetic this has taken so long. I could understand it taking a week. But taking 2 weeks with a possible 3rd week for something they fucked up? It just doesn’t seem right to me. It’s not my fault that dumbass didn’t understand my story. I don’t have a speech impediment or anything. So yeah, Microsoft can eat a bowl of dicks.

I’m still awaiting a call and hoping my Dad’s call didn’t do any irreparable damage.
